Members were asked:

Would you be interested in a Christian Singles Cruise?
Would you be interested in attending a Christian Singles Cruise sponsored by our website, so that you may meet other members of our site in an event planned for Christian singles? If so, would you like to bring your children along with you? Also, any specifics about a desired location, price range, desired time of year, etc. If you know of and can recommend a cruise line that sponsors a good Christian Singles Cruise, please let us know about it. (We have one in mind, but would like to compare to others.)

yes i would be very interested in a singles cruise. it really doesn't matter the location the fact that it's a cruise is the fun part!! a good price range would be under $700 and if that could be made in installments. i would love to make this a graduation present for myself:) but i graduate next december:( but keep us posted

I think that is a great idea!!

Female - Age Range: 31-40
Yes, I think a Christian Singles Cruise is a great idea - somewhere in the Carribean. I don't have children, however, I work with children and it is my understanding from experience and research I have done, that it is not wise for parents to introduce their children to a new potential partner until they are truly serious. Otherwise the children could be exposed to many different 'dating' partners who do not join the family and this is very confusing and hurtful for them. A 7 day cruise is hardly enough time to be sure that someone is going to be a permanant fixture in your and your children's lives. While there may be exceptions to this, I don't think that the odd exception should determine the rule. I think the question 'do you want to bring your children?' should really be changed to: 'what is best for my child, no matter what I might prefer?' Thanks.

Female - Age Range: 31-40
I would be interested in something like that. Prefer having no kids along, as that would enable members to concentrate their energy on making good friendships with each other and on whatever spiritual events were planned instead of disciplining the kids and/or being distracted by undisciplined kids running around. But of course, I understand that for some, this would be impossible. Perhaps a cruise line could be chosen that has child-minding or children's activities planned, that would leave the adults able to relax without them when needed...

Female - Age Range: 31-40
Yes I would be interested, if they could match people up because I do not have any friends that would want to cruise. I know that all christian cruises matches single women together. I had fun on theirs. I would love to go on more singles cruises.

Female - Age Range: 31-40
No: to each his own. I am not a cruise person.
Cruises tend to cost more than they're worth and you don't see a person in a setting that will allow to get to know the real person.

Female - Age Range: 41-50
I think this would be a wonderful idea. It would be fun to meet some of these people that you read about and chat with. Price range $700-$1200. Prefer no children.....need time to be able to get to know them without the kids.

Thanks.

Female - Age Range: 41-50
I would be interested in a singles cruise to almost anywhere....someplace warm. I considered going on one in October but decided against it. I guess my biggest hesitation is what the ratio of women and men. It seems like most single events are about 80% females. I would definetly not want to bring my children. This should be a break for single parents.

Female - Age Range: 41-50
I would be interested in such a cruise, but it matters deeply to me that many Christian males are interested only in Caucasian women. If you find a mix of people, whites and non-whites, then I would be interested for sure.

You may use my alias! Yes, I would be interested in attending a Christian Singles Cruise, where I would meet other members here! I have 'met' some very dear and very real people on this site - through the fellowship chatroom; and I think it would be great to meet these same people in person! Sometimes....I think we tend to forget that the people we are chatting with are very real people....they are not just someone with a username on a site. I have never been in a chat room before joining this site; and from what I have seen so far, there are many whom I chat with, that I would also like to sit down with at a meal and break bread. Yesssssss....I'm all for it!!

Female - Age Range: 41-50
Yes
Thanks very much.

I would be very interested in a Cruise like Alaska or the Great Barrier Reef for a diving cruise....for singles....I would pray that it is affordable to most everyone that would desire to go on something like this...
From what I have seen of some of the cruises it is so high in price that it becomes unafordable to go....for some....so it would be nice to have packages where most anyone who would desire to go can and be blessed....thanks for allowing me to share and that you'd have an interest in something like this....this is great!

Female - Age Range: 51-60
Yes, I would definately be interested, provided the cost was reasonable, (and reasonable has different meanings to different people.) I would like to bring my daughter, however, that might be impossible, again due to the cost. For me, any tropical location is preferable. As far as price range, I've seen cruises advertised for 250$-350$, couldn't see paying more than that. Also, I would not be interested if there was an imposed dress code, or imposed activities. If I am going to the tropics, I want to wear shorts.

Female - Age Range: 51-60
I am interested in a Singles Cruise because it would be an avenue of meeting other singles. The Bahamas is a great place for a cruise.

Female - Age Range: 51-60
Yes! I would LOVE to go on a Christian cruise! My children are older and away from home, so they would not go with me. I would wish for the cruise to be as inexpensive as possible. I would want it to be during the summer months during the time from mid-June to the end of July, as I am involved with the public school system, and that is the only time I could get off from work.
Hope this works out!

You may use my alias. I am very interested for a cruise with CHRISIAN friends! Would love to go up to Alaska from Seattle! In the summer of course! Just a thought!

Female - Age Range: 61-70
Having been on a couple of Adventist cruises, it was quite disappointing to find only 2 unattached men who were barely out of their teens. Would love to hear of a singles cruise to Hawaii or Alaska. Hopefully, others will be interested also. Keep up the good work!

Female - Age Range: 61-70
I wish that I could, but being on oxygen and having a nephew who is on dialysis that I have to be here to see that he is called each morning at 4:30 a.m. to get ready and into the wheelchair and ready for the day. This does not give me much time to go on a cruise or the money to do so.

I would love to go on a cruise. In fact that's my dream for my honeymoon. But Take this suggestion into consideration. Sponser more than one for different age groups, since most people rather hang out with people their age. Like have one cruise for young adults 18-35, middle age 36-50 and so on. This is only a suggestion because I've been to single retreats, picnic and parties and I find I'm the youngest person around.

Male - Age Range: 31-40
I really think that would be a great idea that would make much sense, I am for it.

I would absolutely love to go one one. They had an adventist ship cruise happen here in Ausralia about 7 years ago, & my parents went on it, & everybody really enjoyed it. I was really disappointed I couldn't make it, but they said they would do more, but they never have. So count me in if you do one.

Male - Age Range: 31-40
Week of Feb 8 would be ideal. In the heart of the cold winter. Not too close to Christmas or the start of Spring. During this time of year a southern carribean cruise would be best (for the predictablity to the weather) I realize the airfare to Puerto Rico at this time of year may be 100-200 dollars more but it is well worth it for the increase in probability of good weather.

Male - Age Range: 31-40
I think it would be a wonderful idea. I live in California and I know alot of the members on this site live on the East Coast so it would be difficult to find a neutral location, but anything is possible. A cruise to Mexico would probably be the most reasonably priced, but I haven't checked lately. I am sure it would be a lifechanging even for some and a trip of a lifetime for others. I pray that if it is God's will, this event will come together. God bless you

Male - Age Range: 31-40
Yes I would be interested. Getting to know other christians. Find the right one. Meet new pepoel in person.

Male - Age Range: 41-50
I would be interested in a Singles Cruise. I am not familiar with with any actual cruise line. Alaska and the Caribbean are two very popular places to go. I would be open to either one of them. I have seen pictures and they re both very lovely. As for time of year, summer seems to be the time when most people are able to get away. My kids are grown, so I would come alone. I hope something can be planned.

I think a singles cruise would be fantastic, being able to meet singles who we may have corresponded with. I think children would be ok. If you could afford it, someone would see you in all your light. It doesn't matter to me when, where, affordability would be nice.
