InnerBeauty: Female - Age Range: 21-30
You may use my alias

Acutally, when I first started my business I was trying to come up with a cleaver name. Since my dad is good with these types of things, I asked him to think about it. A couple days later, he came up with the name: Inner Beauty. Since I do interior decorating, light remodels, painting, cleaning, etc. it just seemed to fit nicely!

However, I also thought it would be a good one to use on here as an alias because it is what's on the inside that truely counts. A pretty face has no meaning if the heart isn't pretty also. Looks don't matter if the inside is rotten, right? I pray God makes me more beautiful on the inside everyday.

Pert28: Female - Age Range: 21-30
You may use my alias

I am good friends with a couple that has been married over 30 years and tend to ask them for advice from time to time. The husband suggested it without hesitation. I looked up the word 'pert' in the dictionary and decided it fit. The '28' is for my birthday.

Elfstar: Female - Age Range: 21-30
you may use my alias- I changed my alias from froggyluv- which I choose since I collect frog things- yo Elfstar, which is the name of a necklace in one of my favorite movies :-)...I may change it again in the future, as I find it fun to be able to pick things that describe me and my personality.

Minoakee: Female - Age Range: 21-30
You may use my alias
My alias came from part of my last name and Isaiah 61:3 where it calls us Oaks of righteousness. I'm not that old in regards to my spiritual life and my alias portrays the concept that I am a baby oak. It is a nickname that some of my friends call me, as well.

Sweetstar: Female - Age Range: 31-40
Well, with the first half of my Alias I've had it said to me a number of times... particularly when I was young, and also with some of my 'actions' now I'm MUCH older... groan, groan!! - And I believe like the sand on the seashore we are ALL individual & special like for example snowflakes!!! And so that description relates to the 2nd half of my Alias. There! - Nothing 'complicated' about my Alias and my reasons for choosing it - hope it's ALL clear to everyone who I am!! You may use my Alias with this description if you wish!

AsapPush: Female - Age Range: 31-40

A.S.A.P. = Always Say A Prayer
P.U.S.H. = Pray Until Something Happens

I came across these a few years ago while shopping for friendship bracelets for the youth puppeteers that I help with. I especially like A.S.A.P., because I work in an office and this tends to be noted quite often. Also, because I am learning to pray continually.

I like F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely On God), too.

Once in a while, I use one of my own:
H.O.R.S.E. = Honor Our Risen Savior Eternally

kiwigirl: Female - Age Range: 31-40
You may use my alias,

Well it was pretty simple for me!!
I am from New Zealand and our native bird is a Kiwi. It just goes to show you how our cultures are all so different. I get a laugh everytime someone says they think of a kiwifruit. I get a Mental Image of me as a kiwifurit. I love it.
I am glad that this question has been raised. I have always looked at peoples alais's and sometime you can tell alot from the alias. I have noticed some members sneaking their personal email addresses in there. Not a very original way of breaking the rules is it?? Nor does it look good in the moral stakes either. So people next time that you think you are being clever. Remember you may fool alot of people alot of the time, but GOD is always watching. Blessings upon you all

HisSong4MyHeart: Female - Age Range: 31-40
You may use my alias.

When trying to decide what my alias would be, I tried to think of something that would give others a glimpse into who I was or what was important to me upon seeing my name. I love the Lord and worship and music. They are so much a part of who I am daily. I started playing around with words and trying to not only find something unique that had not previously been used, but also a name that would not exceed the alias character limit. HisSong4MyHeart came from there.

pooby: Female - Age Range: 41-50
You may use my alias

I had a friend that sentimentally called me poopy stupie because of my simplistic and clumsy ways sometimes. I put the two together and came up with pooby.

Reddoor: Female - Age Range: 41-50
It is the name of one of the perfumes I wear.

SincereSusan: Female - Age Range: 41-50
'You may use my alias.' I chose my alias by combining one of my personal qualities (honesty) that I have and especially want my mate to have in with my first name. My friends are always telling me how honest I am so I just more less got the idea from them. I would rather get into trouble rather than lie about anything.

corgiegirl: Female - Age Range: 41-50

Macadamia: Female - Age Range: 51-60
Well, I'm allergic to all nuts, except organic macadamia nuts, so of course I love to eat them when I can afford them. I wanted a 'nutty alias' and there you have it!

matanuska: Female - Age Range: 51-60
My profile was chosen from the name of the valley I live in which happens to be a very famous valley and I am proud of it and proud to have this alias.

SongInMyHeart13: Female - Age Range: 61-70
SongInMyHeart13 gives permission to use alias --
Mother tells me that I first expressed my love of music at a very early age.
My parents belonged to a charismatic praise church when I was small, and the music, she says, was quite lively. Besides the piano and organ, there were several members playing guitar and drum accompaniment. As in most praise churches there was a lot of handclapping to the rhythm of the songs.
When but a toddler on my mother’s lap, perhaps under two years of age, I happily joined in the praise by clapping my small hands and trying to sing the songs.
My first memory of music stems from about age three, listening to the radio on Saturday mornings with my Grandmother. There was a local radio broadcast called “The Birds.” I don’t remember the genre of the music, but it was accompanied by a host of singing birds! To be sure, nowadays it sounds quite strange, but in those lean days of World War II, perhaps it gave comfort and cheer to the listeners. And Grandma and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything!
Our family purchased a piano when I was eight, and the competition to play the new instrument was all encompassing! Dad (who could play almost any instrument by ear) sang and played the old popular songs, among them several he had written himself. My mother, a perfect alto, also played and sang, but it was the hymns her mother taught her from the old pump organ in their country home in Tennessee. Mother, who turned 94 this past January 6, loves to tell the story of her five-year-old Irish ancestor who sang for many a glass of water during the weeks on board the ship packed with immigrants seeking freedom of religion in the “new world.”
Of course my musical sister and brother clamored to try out the new upright piano. There was hardly a chance for me, the youngest, to have a turn. So, while Mother prepared lunch, Daddy drove to the store for milk. Jim had gone for a bicycle ride, and my sister,
Jane, had perched in her favorite tree to read.
Quietly, I crept over to the awesome instrument towering above all the other living room furniture.
I was almost afraid to try it. I had never touched a piano. Maybe I would break it…. Softly and carefully I touched the keys. I picked out the little songs I knew from school and Sabbath School. Then slowly my fingers wandered, weaving out a little melody of my own. Words emerged from my small voice as I sang a tune from my head about flowers blooming in the springtime…. It was a simple one, to be sure, but to this day I remember the joy it gave me to compose that little song from my heart.
Through the years the piano gave us all many hours of enjoyment. We kids learned to sing harmony with our parents, and later, the generations of our growing family joined our group, making music wherever we went.
My parents were baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist church when I was about 4. Until I was 14, and we moved away from the area and the little country church in southern Tennessee, I accompanied Mother to prayer meeting every Wednesday night. There, during the song service, I enjoyed learning the words to dozens of old hymns, first from the “Christ in Song” hymnbook, and later from the Adventist hymnal.
Music has been a very big part in my life. It has given me comfort in time of sorrow, has given me courage in moments of doubt, and has given me expression of my joy in times of happiness. It has become the “media” of my soul, bursting forth spontaneously!

flyinglady: Female - Age Range: 61-70
You may use my alias.
I chose Flyinglady because I am passionate about flying an airplane. I have been a student pilot and have over 60 hours as a student. It is something which I really enjoyed. Then I am a lady. I have always wanted to do the fun things boys did. Now I can do them and I do enjoy myself. But I am still a lady.

Cornerstar3: Female - Age Range: 61-70
You may use my alias.
The name Cornerstar was chosen for me by a member of another dating site I was on before joining CSD.
I had entered the other site with the name of the Newspaper ,I was author of back in the late 70's. At first the Column was called'Ridgerunner' but when the Owner of the Newspaper decided to name his new magazine 'ridgerunner',He had to purchase the name from me, and started a contest to give my column a new name.
Out of a Thousand entries, the City Manager and I chose the name 'Justjawin.'
So I entered the other site as Justjawin. While there one day, a man wrote to me and said I looked like a star sitting in a corner.
After laughing about what a line this man had, I decided that I really did like the name and so when I decided to join this wonderful site, I typed in Cornerstar3.
Since then I have really enjoyed the name. I did change it one day to 'TexasReporter' but when I entered the chat room, everyone kept saying, 'Where is Corner' I decided that day, that in honor of all my precious friends I had made here on this site that I would always remain their 'Corner'
I am really looking forward to hearing all the different ways that people choose their nick.
Thanks Nannette for adding this survey.

dracos7: Male - Age Range: 41-50
Dracos is a shortened form of Dragon, love anything to do with dragons, my favourite stories are about the dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey, plus alot of her other stories too.

John37: Male - Age Range: 41-50
'you maylink to my profile alias' John37.
I chose my alias because I have always liked the name my father went by, John. His name was actually Johannes, an Afrikaans name. The 37 came from my favorite numbers, 3 and 7. Seven represents something complete in the bible, and three is the number of the Godhead, and represents perfect strength in a triangle. Three is also what is required to make a perfect relationship with a mate, the third party being God. When I looked up John 3:7&8 it seemed to all fit together nicely. The total of 3 + 7 = 10, also a perfect number. Numbers are quite interesting to me. My shortened name is Les, three letters, I wonder if I am destined to find someone with 7 letters in their first name? I will find out later, I guess. Interesting??? Talk to me about your profile alias. Did you put any thought into it???????
Cheers for now, alias John37, real name Les.
God bless,
Les.
